Once you’ve been identified as someone who may be vulnerable to an offer for a specific screening test, or medication, or physical therapy, the folks who sell those services will pull out all the compliance tools to get you to buy.
They will market them through someone you trust (your doctor), tell you that “everyone is doing it” and, most effectively, they will use fear.
It won’t be a fair fight.
They’ll use the same tested marketing tactics that worked so well with Candy Crush, Angry Birds, and every winning political candidate.
So be aware that the push is on for you to consume as much healthcare as possible.
And use the tools of discernment before you consume.
Ignore the advertisement, use the unbiased website, investigate the Number Needed to Treat for every offer that’s extended.
Consuming all the healthcare that you’ll be offered will make you sicker than if you consumed none at all.
